Yeah! I Got my phone( Posted on 26/2/10)

I had been living 4 days without a mobile phone. I was going to be crazy at that moment, just like had lost connection with the whole world! Now I only realized Telephone is the greatest invention! And Now, I got the phone already! This is my number , 0433976353(my cousin asked me to choose this because there are many "3"). You can directly press 0433976353 to call me if you are in Australia and if you call from overseas, you have to press 61433976353. The first few days in Sydney has passed, I have started to merge into the local life. So far now, I'm glad that I have met few new friends, they are from different countries, from China, Vietnam, Indonesia etc.Today, I'm happy because I have met a malaysian ! You know? It's hard to find a malaysia chinese in Sydney.
When in the accounting lecture class, I was shocked at that moment I heard the word " I'm from Malaysia" spoken by him during introduction myself. However, he didn't live in Malaysia for the past 10 years. He had moved to Shanghai, China to study when he was 10.

First Post in Sydney

Finally, I have came to this strange land - Sydney. All things here are very new, fresh to me. People, things all are different with my homeland. The current temperature here is very high as now is in Summer. The sun seems to be near to Sydney. Walking under the deadly hot sun is such torturous. When I was told that the distance from the school to my house is about 1 km and from Railway station is about 2km , I nearly fainted. Everyday keep walking, just a few days, my skin apparently became darker. Every time before leave home, I have to put on the sun block cream, it is really smelly! Living alone oversea is very kittle and not as easy as you think, especially your living environment is not that good. Tonight is very hot but I still haven't buy a fan. I have been looking for it almost half day in the shopping mall, but who knows, all have been sold out! Spending here is super expensive! Buying a ordinary pillow from IKEA costed me 30aud, just 3 tomatoes costs 1aud something. However I have found something cheap! A bar of dark chocolate just at 1 aud, Yummy!! Due to having meal outside is very expensive, therefore I have cooked myself these 2days. Haha, to be honest, this is my first time to cook. The first night, I have cooked ABC soup and squid babies bought from Woolworth(supermarket). The soup wasn't bad, just adding in too many ingredients. The second night, I have made a simple fried rice(蛋炒饭)，I personally think it was good, just a bit oily.

Living alone at a strange land at the first is very suffering even you will tell yourself that It will be alright after a period of time. The first night was hard to sleep, my tears nearly dropped, I started missing my bed, odour in my room, my mum , bro , relatives and friends T.T
However, I will never cry , I have chosen this path therefore I have to go through it.Goodnight Sydney, everyone :)
